Foreword

For everyone who drinks coffee.

CUPPERLØG is a diary for coffee drinkers — your first proper pour-over or your ten-thousandth cupping, it doesn't matter. You write down what you drank and what you made of it, in tasting terms or in plain words. "Stone fruit, jasmine, silky" and "tastes like my nan's marmalade" are both welcome here. Nobody gets excluded from this conversation.

Special days make the memories. Ordinary days make you.

We think tasting is a habit, not a talent — and that specialty lives in the experience, not the price of the bag. Log the cups you love and the ones you don't, and slowly you build a palate that understands flavour, even the flavours that aren't your favourites. The app is a tool; the point is the journey — you, getting better at noticing.

CUPPERLØG is a free coffee diary app for iPhone and Android, made for anyone who drinks coffee — no ads, no feed, nothing to unlock. It arrives in 2026.

The Diary.

Every entry is a freeform board. Scan the bag and the Coffee Info fills itself in — origin, variety, process, roaster, even handwriting. Then build the page your way: a rating, flavour tags, a photo, a sticker, a note. Block by block, like scrapbooking a cup.

The Origin Atlas.

Your origins are read straight from what you write — Yirgacheffe files under Ethiopia, Huila under Colombia, no extra typing. Each one drops a pin and stamps your passport; the three you pour most wear the medals.

Tap any origin and the map flies you there from where you are — Sydney to Huila in one lifted arc.

The Sensory CV.

Nobody is born with a palate — you build it cup by cup. Show up for the ordinary cups and the numbers quietly stack: cups logged, day streaks, active days.

Every flavour you tag sketches the rest: a nine-axis radar and your top notes, drawn from your own entries and nothing else. And when your tags lean somewhere, the CV says so — Fruit Lover, earned, not chosen.

Coffee Events.

Coffee is better with company — join a table, or set one yourself. Three ways to play: a cupping scored 1 to 5, blind sensory games where someone has to spot the odd cup, or fast trivia rounds with a countdown. A table is live in about a minute.

Everyone joins with a QR or a six-character code on their own phone — and every taster gets their own colour, so the roster reads at a glance on the projector.

Sneak peek

The Journey.

Fifty-two hand-written badges — no XP, no levels, and nothing locked behind them. They're pure discovery: some reveal themselves only when found, and a few reward honesty, like logging a coffee you didn't enjoy and saying why. Celebrations stay quiet — a small toast in the diary, never a full-screen fireworks show.

Our promise

Yours, and only yours.

CUPPERLØG has no feed to fill and no ads to serve. Your diary lives on your device and works fully offline; nothing is shared unless you choose to share it — if a note ever reaches a roaster, it's because you sent it — and you can pack up the whole book and leave whenever you like. We make an app — we don't sell your taste.
